THREE+ WEEK STAY AND TRAIN PROGRAM

We have found, three weeks is the perfect amount of time to achieve all that we have to offer here. While your dog is away they get to reset. They will experience structure with boundaries through consistency. They will be shown new expectation through clear communication. During this time it is also a great reset for you so you can be the best version of yourself when your dog returns home. A healthy relationship is key to the success of continuing training as a lifestyle. Your dog will be making changes while they are away, it’s very important that you do too.

This program is for an owner that is looking for a great head start. This is not a quick fix. We will lay the foundation of this new lifestyle but there will be work to do when your dog returns home.

We will work first on mindset, slowing your dog down and showing them a life of calm. Second we will teach obedience and manners. If your dog isn’t in the right mindset, it’s impossible for them to learn and retain the information we are providing.

In certain situations a longer program may be warranted, that will be discussed at the evaluation.

Seven basic commands your dog will learn are: sit, down, heel, come, place, out and off.
This is a comprehensive program, in addition to the six commands your dog will learn:
Walk politely on a leash (heel)
Sit, Down and Place with duration (stay)
Recall (come)
Waiting for guidance at thresholds (front door, back door, garage door & car door)
Kennel
Wait for food
Calm mindset

This program also addresses behavior issues, such as:
Jumping & Counter Surfing
Leash Reactivity
Resource Guarding
Excessive Barking
Minor Separation Anxiety
Situational Anxiety
Nervousness around noises and strangers
State of Mind

We do not take human aggression or severe separation anxiety - if you have any questions about this please reach out to Shannon before assuming we wouldn’t work with you and your dog.

This program requires a 1 hour evaluation at your home, the cost is $100 and will be applied to deposit if the program is booked. You will also get a 1 hour mid-program session and a 2 hour “go home” session at the end where we will relay the information, knowledge and techniques so you are successful with your dog. The program includes 3 follow up session once your dog has graduated. You will also be invited via text message to our monthly Pack Walks (October - April). Each dog goes home on an E-Collar system from E-Collar Technologies along with a long line, slip lead and a prong training collar. You will get to see the work your dog is putting in each day and the progress they are making through Instagram and Facebook stories so we high recommend you follow along.

After graduating our program, your dog is invited to stay with us while you are away from home or traveling. We require the training lifestyle to continue so they can be the best version of themselves while they are with us.
Staying with us while you are away is $40/night for the first dog and $20/night for each additional dog.
Your dog will get one walk per day, place duration and social time in the yard.
